Individualizing Instruction
I did a series of presentations to the Northern Middle School staff on how to individualize instruction using data.
Weebly
Jona French asked me to present how to use Weebly, which is a website builder, effectively in a classroom environment. This was open to other Instructional Technology Leadership Cohort members.

Project Based Learning
Jackie Chaney, Erik Vreeland, and myself presented PBL to staff in the Spring of 2012. Below is an email of thanks from a technology supervisor:
Jackie, Erik and Matt (in no particular order;-)
Thanks for the great session this evening. I found it very informative and enlightening, as I believe did those in attendance. I am excited to hear about the work that you are doing in terms of project based learning and anxious to see it in action. I've been in the building on a limited basis and have seen bits and pieces of the program BUT obviously need to spend more time in your building.
As I mentioned I would love to have some video of best practices in terms of project based learning if we could arrange that. These videos could be stored in Safari Montage and used throughout WCPS as a professional development component.
